About the Author

Carmen Turner-Schott (St Louis, MO) MSW, LISW, is a practicing clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and astrologer with national and international clientele. She works as a sexual assault prevention and response program manager and has worked with victims of trauma for over twenty-five years. Turner-Schott has presented astrology workshops and eGroups for the Association of Research and Enlightenment, and she is the founder of Deep Soul Divers Astrology.

Carmen Turner-Schott, MSW, LISW, is a practicing clinical social worker, psychotherapist, Writer, Christian astrologer and teacher with national and international clientele. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and a minor in Religion from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri in 1997. She completed her Master of Social Work degree at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri in 1999.

She founded the Astrological Self Awareness Center in 2005 as a way to reach out to others through the internet and to offer counseling and spiritual coaching. Carmen has been researching the eighth and twelfth astrological houses for the past 25 years. As an eighth and twelfth house person herself, she has personally experienced the energies and lessons of these two very spiritually transforming houses. She founded a new website called Deep Soul Divers Astrology in 2013 where she posts her recent writings and videos. She was a writer and columnist for Spirit Seeker Magazine, Promise Magazine and All Things Healing online in the past. She founded and published her own spiritual magazine in 2011-2012 called, The Rising Magazine.

Carmen began her astrological work at the age of 16 and began studying religion, spirituality, astrology, metaphysics and the Edgar Cayce material at that time. She has presented astrology workshops for the Association of Research and Enlightenment and teaches online eGroup courses on astrology for the A.R.E. Virginia Beach Headquarters. She enjoys teaching a variety of spiritual development classes. She is a dream researcher and enjoys analyzing her own dreams and helping others understand their dreams. She believes God speaks to us through dreams and we just need to listen to the wisdom of the messages.
