The Astrological Foundation Of The Christ Myth (Book 4)

The Astrological Foundation Of The Christ Myth (Book 4)

This is the fourth and final book of the series. Books One,

Two and Three have served to lay the foundation for the

extensive interpretations that are offered in this volume.

The mythical stories embodied within religious

text

describe cosmic interactions recorded over the millennia,

whereas the celestial entities are labeled as personified

deities and the courses and cycles of these astronomical

objects are symbolically rendered as the conflicts, unions,

births and deaths of human and political types. This

symbolism has and may be referred to as the Gnosis. It

is an esoteric wisdom whose orgin is lost in ancient

history but the keys

of interpretation

have

been

maintained secretly throughout the ages and remain with

the initiated - to this day.

Theology Of Time is the best definition of the evolution of religion that I have ever heard – it started as astronomy that evolved into cryptic Myth (Mythology, Tales and Folklore) – and out of this mix has emerged our present day religious creeds. The fables that we call religious history are completely bogus in terms of actual history. The evolution of our modern Religious Concepts began with Astronomy, and evolved through Mythology and Astrology into modern religion. Jesus Christ , Moses , Abraham and all of the other so-called prophets of the Quran , Bible and Torah are cosmic myths – they never existed in actual history. They are the personifications of cosmic entities and their tales, in truth, are no less than a registry of astronomical phenomena written in a mythological format.

The best term that I have ever heard as a description of religion is Theology Of time – that’s exactly what religion is and has always been. Religious myth was born out of a system of Time-Keeping, its originators were primitive stargazers whose history goes back more thousands of years than I would like to count.

Within this Book, we shall also bring greater clarity to the important book of Genesis. In Chapter two I have included much of the Stellar and Circumpolar symbolism that was omitted from the previous volumes. The inclusion of the stellar symbolism and its interpretations will give the reader a much broader comprehension of biblical allegory. I have found astronomical correlations going back over 8,000 years in the Book Of Genesis. The interpretations are very vivid and jolting.

We have attacked and explained many of the most enigmatic portions of the bible within Book Four, and that includes the Book Of Revelations – that mystery of the Ages. We have included many interpretations relating to Environmental (Agricultural) symbolism within this Volume, as it is very pertinent to the New Testament and to Revelations as well.

From the Publisher

This book was published in October of 2003. This is the fourth and final book of the series of books titled "The Astrological Foundation Of the Christ Myth". Books One, Two and Three of this series have served to lay the foundation for the extensive interpretations that are offered in this volume. The mythical stories embodied within religious scriptures describe cosmic interactions recorded over the millennia, whereas the celestial entities are labeled as personified deities and the courses and cycles of these astronomical objects are symbolically rendered as the conflicts, unions, births and deaths of human and political types. This symbolism has been referred to as the Gnosis. It is an esoteric wisdom whose origin is lost in ancient history but the keys of interpretation have been maintained throughout the ages and remain intact and discernable within the circles of the Initiated.

From the Author

My overriding motivation in writing this series of books on the origin and evolution of religion has been to aid those that have perhaps languished in the same or similar quagmire of doubt and confusion that enwrapped me several years ago. About twenty-five years ago, I began to have serious doubts about the veracity of religion. I noticed that traditional religion could not withstand probing intellectual analysis and I wondered why, if it is true and ordained by god.

It is psychologically jolting and traumatic to discover that the cherished beliefs and hopes of the masses of this planet are based on lies and deceit – illusions.

Even in this intellectual age of science and technological progress, most human beings are just as superstitious and irrational as our progenitors may have been at the dawn of civilization. It’s amazing that even those that appear to be most intellectual are incapable of coming to grips with the truth of religion on a rational basis. They seem to fear the truth and look upon we who seek to analyze and evaluate religion scientifically as enemies of the faith. Some say that we researchers and analysts are inspired by the devil and are possessed by evil demonic spirits – and this is the 21st century! It seems unreasonable to me that religion should be exempt from critical analysis, but this seems to be the opinion of the vast majority. I have been told that I must allow my faith to overcome reason, that this is the test of true belief and submission to god’s will. Such a course is incomprehensible to me, but in fact the majority chooses to live by faith rather than reason and perhaps that is their fate as well as their choice.
