"Hardaway's faith, determination and perseverance allowed her to continue believing that her body could heal itself..." -- Foreword (excerpt) by Eldred B. Taylor, M. D. and author of Are Your Hormones Making You Sick?
This book was written by a woman who was actually healed naturally of fibroid tumors and is supported by a foreword written by a board certified doctor, obstetrician / gynecologist.
This book is unique in that it not only includes Faye Hardaways personal modern day account of walking in the shoes of the Biblical character "woman with an issue of blood" who had paid all she had for medical answers and was still left with sometimes overwhelming challenges with her menstruation cycles due to fibroid tumors, but also includes what a strong faith that there has to be a better answer, specific changes in the diet and lifestyle can do.
Trying different approaches for herself, through trial and error, the author has found a healing approach resulting in uterine fibroid tumors twice releasing themselves naturally from her body, surprising doctors and other medical professionals. Although no one can possibly guarantee the exact same results for others, Faye Hardaway wrote Fibroid Tumors Healed Naturally: A Personal Journey Shared with Specific How-Tos to share generously with others what she has found and sincerely hopes women everywhere will be healed of this dis-ease.
The book includes a balanced approach to the subject, including
Easy to understand educational information on the nature of the dis-ease (see actual pictures of what fibroid tumors look like)
Women can find out what they might be eating that is contributing to fibroids
An uncomplicated summary of traditional/surgical approaches
Natural alternatives and how to find and use certain health foods. Recipes are included as a bonus.
Also included in the book are positive daily affirmations
This book is recommended for those looking for a whole person (physical, psychological and spiritual) approach to healing fibroids.
" We used to have the art of sitting on the front porch and combing each others hair, shelling peas or whatever else occupied our hands as we shared our experiences and remedies. Since women have gone into the workplace, established professional careers and are many times the sole caregivers of children, our worlds have grown to be so fast-paced that we have forgotten to make time to talk with our friends."
" I personally joined a support group with women having the same challenge. Though you may choose not to join a support group at this time, let this book become your support."
Faye Hardaway, the author, holds a doctorate in spiritual psychology and MBA. She left a fifteen-year successful business management career in corporate America to help other people (women in distress particularly) through her writings and seminars. Little did she know that a personal encounter with fibroid tumors would lead her to doing years of research on fibroid tumors. Hardaway is also the author of How to Get Your Boss to Work for You and the forthcoming Spirituality in the Workplace.H
